Along with high-resolution images of each mural, there is additional information about each piece like: the medium, size and the technique used; as well as some insight into the creative process behind the wall art and its symbolism. Murals are large works of art often spanning an entire wall, they are tedious work but the unusually large canvas allows for more detailed and imaginative work.

Acrylics on Stone Wall 2024

Size: 2,5 x 5m

While not the first mural I've done, it's the first fully realised and finished one. It resides in my maternal grandmother's old stable, where we held a pop-up gallery for three weeks during spring 2024. The mural will stand there as a reminder of that event. The motif itself is an oak tree in the front with the background being a typical southern Swedish landscape. The flat and open landscapes contrast my home turf of dense forests, and the oak tree doesn't grow this far north. I however love oak trees, and wanted to commemorate my time in the south.
